Details

The Data Protection and Digital Information Bill will:

  • abolish the role of the BSCC
  • remove the requirement for the government to publish a surveillance camera code of practice

This report analyses the likely effects of these changes.

It was commissioned by the BSCC and written by academics at the Centre for Research into Information, Surveillance and Privacy.
