The child sex offender disclosure scheme is also known as Sarah’s Law, after 8-year-old Sarah Payne who was murdered in 2000 by a convicted sex offender.
Members of the public interested in learning more about the scheme or how to safeguard children against sexual abuse can find further information in Annexes E and F.
