The Service Level Agreement sets out the agreed roles and responsibilities between the Scottish ministers and DWP when delivering Child Winter Heating Assistance.

  1. This page has been updated to reflect the change in the Service Level Agreement from version 3.0 to version 4.0. Section 2.2 and 8.1.2 DWP will now provide data to enable Social Security Scotland to make a CWHA payment to residents in Scotland in receipt of Disability Living Allowance for Children and young people (age 16 to 18 only) in receipt of Personal Independence Payment. Section 9.1 Fraud processes are being developed in a test and learn environment and are under continuous review by DWP and Social Security Scotland. Section 16.4 In 2020/2021 a new audit approach was adopted and agreed by DWP, Social Security Scotland, National Audit Office and Audit Scotland; Special Purpose Audit Framework will be used going forward as set out in the ‘Scottish Devolution: Financial Arrangements for Formal Agreements’ document.
