Research project by Aldaba and the Early Intervention Foundation, based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative research.
The project included:
- statistical analysis of information on spending by local councils
- statistical analysis of the number of children in need and looked-after children
- qualitative interviews with over 50 officials across 17 local councils in England between September and October 2015
The November 2017 research update from Aldaba includes:
- statistical analysis of information on spending by local councils
- statistical analysis of the number of children in need and looked-after children
- updated information for 2014 to 2015 and 2015 to 2016
