Details

This is the final version of the claims handling agreement was negotiated between the claimants’ solicitors and defendants’ solicitors in order to process the 590,000 claims received under the scheme. It contains details of how claims are to be handled from the beginning of the process (registering a claim) through the medical assessment process the end of the claim (settling the claim by payment or denial). The process was overseen by the presiding Judge in charge of the litigation.
