The City Deal for the Tees Valley will help to develop major industrial sites, create new jobs and encourage investment in local infrastructure.

Details

The Tees Valley City Deal will build upon Teesside’s strengths in large scale production and processing of chemicals, energy (including renewable) and new materials by helping to develop 3 major industrial sites.

Over its lifetime Tees Valley Unlimited predict that the City Deal will:

  • create 3,500 supply chain or indirect jobs
  • safeguard 800 jobs for the Tees Valley
  • create £10 million of private sector investment in the industrial infrastructure and workforce of the Tees Valley
