These impact assessments concern government policies to modernise key elements of the civil aviation regulatory framework through the Civil Aviation Act 2012.
There are 5 impact assessments which correspond to different areas of the Act, entitled:
- Reforming the framework for the economic regulation of airports
- Modernising the Civil Aviation Authority’s governance and operations
- Granting the Civil Aviation Authority powers to publish information
- Conferring certain aviation security functions, including regulation and compliance on the Civil Aviation Authority
