Civil Justice Council and Family Justice Council: triennial review

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) carried out a triennial review of the Civil Justice Council (CJC) and Family Justice Council (FJC).

This was published under the 2015 to 2016 Cameron Conservative government

Details

The review has recognised a need for both Councils to be separate Non-departmental Public Bodies.

A review into control and governance arrangements resulted in a small number of recommendations. These were around issues of transparency and encouraging more candidates for Council membership from diverse backgrounds.
