Details
If you had your XL Bully dog put down by a vet by 31 January 2024 you could claim compensation. The closing date for all claims was 15 March 2024.
If you submitted a claim by 15 March and received an automated reply from XLBullyCompensationScheme@defra.gov.uk, your claim is being processed.
When you’ll receive your compensation
The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) is working on behalf of Defra to process the compensation payments.
The RPA usually takes up to 30 working days to process a valid compensation claim.
For a claim to be valid, you must have included the form (with all required fields filled in) and receipt or invoice showing how much you paid.
All valid claims will be paid into your bank account. RPA will send you confirmation of payment by post.
