Use of oil dispersants is controlled by the MMO. You should check with the Environment Agency regarding the use of other cleaning agents before use.
High pressure washing is a quick and more environmentally friendly method of removing oil from slipways and other manmade infrastructure. To stop the oil from spreading and contaminating other marine habitats, it is important to always use booms and sorbent material at the same time.
