The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Brice Aggregates Limited.

This application is for the deposit of waste for recovery, including a front-end aggregate recycling facility at Colemans Farm Quarry, Little Braxted Lane, Rivenhall, Witham CM8 3EX. It is estimated that the restoration will comprise the deposit of 1,827,000m3 of material, some 1,152,000m3 of which is expected to comprise of imported, suitable waste and the remainder of (675,000m3) is expected to be site-won. It is projected that the proposed works will take an estimated 13-years to complete the infilling works.
