CMA letter to Lloyds about breaching Part 2 of the Retail Banking Order

CMA finds a breach of Part 2 of the Retail Banking Market Investigation Order 2017 and Lloyds has agreed to take action to prevent a recurrence.

Details

Part 2 of the Order requires the nine largest banks at the time of the Order in GB and NI (including Lloyds) to release information such as ATM location through the Open Banking system. Such information shall be as accurate and up-to-date as reasonably practicable.

Lloyds breached Part 2 of the Order through failing to release the location of 363 ATMs through Open Banking between 7 December 2023 and 12 January 2024.
