The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) responded to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport’s (DCMS) call for evidence.

The response summarises the work the CMA has carried out into secondary tickets, its views and responsibilities in relation to the sector and how they fit alongside other bodies’ responsibilities.

It also sets out the relevant consumer protection laws that apply to secondary tickets and the bodies that can enforce them.
