Details
On 27 September 2018 Natural England submitted a coastal access report for improving coastal access between Shoreham-by-Sea and Eastbourne to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
This report sets out Natural England’s proposals for improving coastal access under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.
On 19 December 2019, the Secretary of State announced their decision to approve Natural England’s proposals. Their decision is outlined in this notice.
On 28 March 2024, the Secretary of State announced their decision to approve the coastal access variation report for Mill Creek, Newhaven, East Sussex (VR16). Their decision is outlined in this notice.
