A new Code of best practice on mobile network development in England has been published by mobile network operators.

This guidance has been superseded. The government believes that for the code of best practice to be effective it has to be developed and owned by industry, local authority groups and other interested parties.

A working group representing these organisations published a revised sector-led and owned Code of best practice on mobile network development in England on 24 July 2013.
