Details

The Ministry of Justice will make an initial release of the new electronic monitoring service, which will include curfew and/or location monitoring of subjects who have had such a requirement or condition imposed through a Court Order or a prison licence.

This Code clarifies the expectations, safeguards and broad responsibilities for the collection, retention, processing and sharing of electronic monitoring data in the new service as applicable to community sentences and prison licences.
