COMARE 11th report

Details

The aim of this report by the Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment (COMARE) is to provide an overview of the geographical patterns of variation in the incidence of different types of childhood cancer, and the relation of these to certain socio-demographic factors, and to examine whether spatial or space–time clustering are part of the general pattern of occurrence of childhood leukaemia and other cancers.

This report has been written, in response to recommendations in earlier COMARE reports, in order to relate findings around nuclear installations to the general geographical epidemiology of childhood cancer.
