Details

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) published a market study in 2006 about the commercial use of public information (CUPI).

In 2014, the Competition and Markets Authority commissioned DotEcon to independently evaluate the study’s impact. This report outlines the findings.

The report focuses on:

  • assessing how the provision of public sector information has changed since the study was published
  • the processes that have been responsible for these developments
  • the role the OFT study has played in the changes
