The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. The UK Government is committed to promoting women’s rights and gender equality, and is actively involved in the work of CSW.

The newsletters are issued by Helene Reardon Bond, Head of UK Women’s National Machinery, and detail the UK Government’s preparations for participation in CSW. This includes updates on how we work with UK Women’s non-governmental organisations in advance of CSW.
