Details

The Secretary of State confirms that he is handing all executive functions back to and withdrawing commissioners from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This follows confirmation that the council is committed to on-going improvement. New general Directions require the council to report progress to the Secretary of State on a quarterly basis.
