Committee on Fuel Poverty (CFP) Meeting Minutes – 23 September, 2024

Agenda Item 1: Chair’s Welcome, Members Interests and Minutes of Last Meeting
The Chair welcomed members. No new member interests were declared. The Committee requested a change to the minutes of July 2024 which were then cleared.
Agenda Item 2: Action Log - update on progress
The Committee reviewed the action log and discussed outstanding actions with DESNZ officials.
Agenda Item 3: Stakeholder Engagement
The Committee agreed to contact NHS Confederation Network to raise awareness about fuel poverty and opportunities to highlight the need for action.
Agenda Item 4: DESNZ Update
DESNZ provided the Committee with an update on current fuel poverty schemes and priorities.
Agenda Item 5: Affordability Analysis Briefing
DESNZ provided a briefing on affordability analysis.
Agenda Item 6: Fuel Poverty Strategy
DESNZ presented an update on the Fuel Poverty Strategy Review and stakeholder engagement.
Agenda Item 7: Annual Report feedback
The Committee reflected on the commentary and feedback from the Annual Report.
