This plenary meeting was held in public. At the meeting, members of the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (CoRWM) provided updates on recent meetings and events that they had attended or observed to inform their scrunity role - the scrutiny of the long term management of Higher Activity Radioactive Waste. The Committee discussed their response to the Welsh Government’s Review of its policy on Higher Activity Waste. CoRWM then reflected on its visit to the Sellafield Site and its public meeting that it had held in Workington.
