Details

This note sets out our policy for the allocation of eligible area under the Basic Payment Scheme for common land and certain areas of shared grazing.

It also explains that some farmers may be able to claim additional amounts under the Single Payment Scheme and possibly entitlements for some previous years.

May 2015 update

The Rural Payments Agency have published an update to explain more about this policy change and what it means for those who claim for common land, or who have claimed for common land in the past.

They have sent a printed copy of this update to all current claimants.
