Apply for UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS) authorisation.

Check if you need to register for the Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS).

Register to use the Import Control System 2 (ICS2).

Decide if you want to use the Trader Goods Profile (TGP).

Check if you need to apply for the Northern Ireland Retail Movement Scheme (NIRMS) and/or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label Scheme (NIPHL).

Consider applying for UKIMS Entry in Declarants Records (EIDR) authorisation.

Check if you can apply for Notice of Presentation (NOP) Waiver authorisation.

Speak to suppliers and customers about how to ensure information is in the right place at the right time, to benefit from the new arrangements.
