The meeting started with an item on aviation recovery and a discussion on the work being done to recover the industry.

The group discussed the Williams Rail Review and the chair summarised the discussions that Keith Williams, independent chair of the Review, had held with each devolved administration during the course of the review. It was agreed that the group would have a detailed discussion on the findings of the review once the white paper had been published.

The Welsh Government led a discussion on the findings from the Lord Burns commission report noting that it would take some time to implement some of the interventions recommended.

The group discussed the format of the meeting and it was agreed that Baroness Vere would continue as Chair. The chair concluded the meeting with suggestions for items for discussion in future meetings.
