The Devolved Administrations’ Inter-Ministerial Group for Tourism met on 22 November 2021. The Meeting was chaired by the Minister for Sport, Tourism, Heritage & Civil Society, Nigel Huddleston MP.

Minister for Sport, Tourism, Heritage & Civil Society, Nigel Huddleston MP.
1.2. From the Scottish government:
Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise, Ivan McKee MSP.
1.3. From the Welsh government:
Minister for the Economy, Vaughan Gething MS.
1.4. From the Northern Ireland Executive:
Minister for the Economy, Gordon Lyons MLA.
2. What was discussed:
The new Terms of Reference - which formalises and renames these meetings as the Devolved Administrations’ Interministerial Group for Tourism - was agreed at the meeting. Each Minister provided an update on the current state of the tourism sector in their respective jurisdictions and the covid recovery measures in place. The CEO of VisitBritain (VB) also provided an update on VB’s international marketing plans for the new year. It was agreed that the next meeting will be hosted in Northern Ireland.
