Details

This Common Framework agreement covers company law policy, which is devolved to Northern Ireland only. It has been developed collaboratively by the UK government and Northern Ireland Executive, in line with the Common Framework principles agreed at the Joint Ministerial Committee on EU Negotiations (JMC(EN)).

This framework provides a non-legislative agreement setting out principles of engagement on company law matters between the UK government and the Northern Ireland Executive. It formalises longstanding and collaborative ways of working between the governments.
