This document sets out the notes on how a competent person self-certification schemes operator can demonstrate meeting the conditions of authorisation. These conditions come into force on 1 April 2016 in respect of any UKAS assessment begun on or after this date.

Air tightness tester schemes have separate requirements from other types of work - these are included in the second document.
