Annual Plan 2020 to 2021

Competition and Markets Authority Annual Plan 2020 to 21

Details

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is the UK’s lead competition and consumer authority. Our annual plan sets out the CMA’s programme for 2020 to 2021. The plan supports our mission to make markets work well for consumers, businesses and the economy.

This plan has been published during disruption caused by Covid-19. The CMA is working hard to keep pace with the fast-moving events around the spread and containment of Covid-19, with all its staff now working from home if possible and all meetings and hearings being conducted remotely via teleconferencing or telephone, to ensure the safety and well-being of its staff and all those it engages with.

Within these constraints, the CMA will continue to do its utmost to ensure that the UK public is protected from anti-competitive practices, transactions and unfair trading.
