Details

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) was created by the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013, as an independent non-ministerial department. It will come into being on 1 April 2014. Its overall mission is to make markets work well in the interests of consumers, businesses and the economy.

This performance management framework sets out the performance that the government expects of the CMA, and describes how it will fulfil its statutory reporting requirements.
