This guidance will help businesses to understand what steps they need to take to provide services within the UK. This guidance is also aimed at those bodies who set rules or requirements which service providers have to comply with, and those who are involved in authorising service providers.

The Provision of Services Regulations protect UK businesses and consumer rights by ensuring that the regulation of service activity is proportionate and justified in the public interest.
