Details

On 26 March 2015, the Department for Education announced the outcome of the condition improvement fund 2015 to 2016.

The first document lists 1,407 projects across 1,127 academies and sixth-form colleges that received a total of £383 million. This includes institutions successful following appeals in July 2015.

The second document lists 79 unsuccessful projects that demonstrated a high project need.

The Education Funding Agency asked these projects to submit a revised application to consider before the 2016 to 2017 bidding round. Subject to satisfactory changes to the bids, funding for these projects were allocated when funds became available from savings.

The third document lists the final funding outcomes for the condition improvement fund 2015 to 2016 round.

Some figures for individual projects differ from previously published figures. To increase transparency and accuracy, we now publish the total amount of funding paid to individual projects. Previously, after the round had completed, we published the total amount of funding allocated to projects at the time projects were awarded.
