Details

The Attorneys General of the UK Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies met with a delegation from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and a representative from the US Department of Justice in the Cayman Islands on 19 and 20 February 2019.

Delegates discussed a range of topics relating to the rule of law and administration of justice in the Territories, including:

  • anti-corruption
  • financial services
  • child safeguarding
  • human rights and international obligations
  • criminal justice issues

This closing statement sums up the discussions and the commitments made by delegates.
