The Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) works across government to support and manage addressing instability and preventing conflicts that threaten UK interests. It has led to a more integrated UK government response to fragility and conflict in other countries, including through the UK national action plan on women, peace and security (WPS) 2018 to 2022.

The Gender, Peace and Security (GPS) portfolio funds innovative projects which address emerging trends and gaps within the WPS agenda. The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) seeks for bids for 3 projects:

  • piloting gender-transformative approaches to natural resource management in a time of climate and environmental stress
  • support for women’s rights organisations in conflict-affected states
  • intersectional approaches to conflict programming

We welcome bids from not-for-profit organisations whose influence can demonstrate impact.

Further details, including how to bid and the selection criteria, are in the terms of reference for each project. These also include instructions on which documents you must provide when you bid.

Submit your bid to CSSFGender.PeaceSecurity@fcdo.gov.uk by 11:59pm on 10 June 2021.
