This document contains the following information: This documents sets out the Government’s response to the Committee’s third report, HCP 275-I, session 2004-05 (ISBN 0215021665) on the proposals contained within the Constitutional Reform Bill.

The Bill has now completed all of the legislative stages in the Commons and is awaiting being sent to the Lords to considers amendments made so far.

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
