This report was completed in October 2022 and discusses data sources available up to that time.
This research was commissioned by the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) from King’s College London. It provides an overview of datasets related to construction product incidents, and explores how OPSS could potentially accrue fuller incident-related data. It considers further data sources that might be newly established or drawn upon, identifying remaining knowledge gaps and areas for further research. Its appendices include a set of tables providing more detail on the main data sources scrutinised.
