Summarises the main changes that have been made to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and other legislation by the implementation of the Consumer Credit Directive. Intended as an informal plain English guide to the regulations to help businesses identify and understand changes that affect them, also relevant to consumers’ rights and protections and to enforcement authorities. Updated with guidance on implementing the European Directive on Additional Assumptions for the Calculation of the Annual Percentage Rate of Charge on Credit Agreements (EC Directive 2011/90/EU).
