Aimed at local authority Trading Standards Services and other public enforcers on how to use ‘enhanced consumer measures’. We introduced these increased range of enforcement actions through the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These measures will help enforcers achieve better redress for consumers who have experienced a breach of consumer law.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) provide further guidance on the provisions for the enforcement of consumer protection legislation, under Part 8 of the Enterprise Act.
