Contracts for Difference final versions of the Standard Terms and Conditions for use in CfD Allocation Round 5 (AR5).

Details
These are the final versions of the CfD Standard Terms and Conditions, the Generic Agreement and contract variants for CfD Allocation Round 5.
Each CfD contract issued in Allocation Round 5 (AR5) will comprise 2 components:
- the specific front-end CfD Agreement
- the Standard Terms and Conditions
The generic CfD Agreement forms the front section of the CfD contract and contains project-specific information that tailors the application of the Standard Terms and Conditions. CfD applicants should select this CfD Agreement, unless one of the other published variations is required - for example the phased (apportioned and single metering) terms or private network terms.
These final versions incorporate changes made to the Standard Terms and Conditions and CfD Private Network Agreement that were consulted on in December 2022. As indicated in the government response to the December 2022 consultation, in light of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill, consequential amendments to the references to retained EU Law in the contract may be needed if the Bill comes into effect prior to AR5 CfD contracts being signed.
