Clean Industry Bonus dispute resolution
Updated 14 April 2025
An external board has been established to resolve any disputes that may arise in the assessment of applications for the Clean Industry Bonus (CIB) in Allocation Round 7 (AR7).
The purpose of the dispute resolution board is to allow CIB applicants an opportunity to challenge any perceived mistakes DESNZ could make in the scoring process.
A dispute may be raised on the basis of a potential error, or disagreement on the interpretation of the evidence provided by an applicant.
If an applicant is dissatisfied with DESNZ’s initial review of a perceived mistake, they can request that the board be convened.
The dispute resolution board has been established to ensure a fair and transparent process for the allocation of CIBs.
The board consists of the following members:
- Andrew Jamieson
- Thibaut Cheret
- Phillip Thies
- Henry Jeffrey
- David Hÿtch
- Roger Townsend
Board members will:
- only be appointed on the dispute resolution board for two CIB allocation rounds
- only have access to the data shared by applicants for review. All other information will be withheld or redacted to maintain compliance with data security
