Details

The CfD Clean Industry Bonus (CIB) means fixed and floating offshore wind applicants can obtain extra CfD revenue support if they choose to invest in more sustainable supply chains:

  • the CIB allocation framework sets out how to apply for a Clean Industry Bonus, and how funding will be allocated
  • the CIB guidance sets out the process for receiving CIB payments, and other matters related to the delivery of CIB commitments

How to apply

The CIB application window opens on 13 February 2025 and closes on 14 April 2025.

  1. Clean Industry Bonus application form added.

  2. CIB Allocation Framework updated: to extend the time the CIB application window will remain open; to clarify the information eligible generators should provide when submitting CIB proposals, and how scores will be calculated for extra proposals; minor error in calculation of minimum standards has been corrected.
