Details

The government is committed to keeping energy costs as low as possible. The Control for Low Carbon Levies is an important part of delivering on this commitment. It sets out that there will be no new low carbon electricity levies until the burden of such costs on energy bills is falling.

This document includes the current forecast of such levies, on the basis of which there will be no new low carbon electricity levies until 2025. The government remains committed to supporting low carbon electricity and all existing contracts and commitments will be respected.
