Local Government Minister Simon Clarke and Environment Minister Rebecca Pow write to councils urging them to re-open household waste and recycling centres where it is safe to do so, while managing social distancing requirements.

The letter also highlights additional guidance published by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to support councils in maintaining access to these key facilities and, where necessary, with managing the process of re-opening.
