Cost to the taxpayer, in full, of the decision to allow Liverpool College to become an academy. Include a breakdown of staffing costs, capital expenditure etc.

Release

To date, the Department for Education has paid Liverpool College a £25,000 support grant to cover the legal costs of becoming an academy.

This is in line with the support grant that is paid to other schools that convert to academy status.
