Details

A request for information was made about rebranding the Highways Agency to Highways England. The requestor asked if there was a statutory requirement to rebrand; the costs involved; and details of staff salaries, pay increases and bonuses.

In response, the Highways Agency confirmed that it was not a statutory requirement to rebrand. Costs were being collated but that any customer facing assets would be subject to natural renewals and maintenance cycle. The Highways Agency did not provide information on staff salaries, pay increases and bonuses as they were already in the public domain.
