Details

The Home Office secured a £2 million fund for non-local charities which deal with domestic abuse and which are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and for which other funding streams for domestic abuse were not specifically designed.

The fund was opened for bids for the first time on 22 May 2020, closing on 8 June. £792,957 was allocated to 13 successful applicants. The remainder of the fund was reopened for bids on 6 July, closing on 20 July. A further £935,007 was allocated to 16 successful applicants.
