Details
The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care declared the outbreak of COVID-19 a ‘serious and imminent threat to public health’ which engages powers within the Coronavirus Act 2020 in response to the outbreak. These include powers for public health officers.
Guidance on the use of these powers in regard to potentially infectious people in England is set out here.
The annex sets out 9 notices to be given under Schedule 21 to the Coronavirus Act 2020.
