This report explains the Environment Agency’s work to stop illegal activity on 1,279 illegal waste sites during 2012 to 2013.

Waste crimes are committed when people deliberately don’t deal with waste in accordance with the law. Their activities can cause harm to people and the environment.

Suspicious activity can be reported to the incident hotline.
