Details of the application
The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from 3C Waste Limited.
The proposed variation may have significant negative effects on humans or the environment.
Application number

Regulated facility type
The Application is to vary an existing permit, increasing the fraction of hazardous waste soils treated and stored at the Soil Treatment Facility on site from 30,000 tpa to 50,000 tpa. This variation will not allow the Applicant to accept an overall increase in total waste soils brought to the site (the maximum will remain at 50,000 tpa for all soil wastes treated under this Activity), only increase the limits on treatment and storage of soils designated as hazardous waste, for treatment and enable their use in restoration and completion of the landfill upon completion of the treatment. There are no additional emissions points or changes to the operation beyond these tonnage increases.
Regulated facility address
Maw Green Landfill
