Dairy and milk: model health certificates
Competent authorities of exporting countries should use the relevant model health certificate as a template to create a version exporters can apply for to export dairy and milk to Great Britain, the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

Details
Dairy and milk exported to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) must be accompanied by the relevant health certificate. Exporters should read the guide on how to complete a health certificate.
Certificate GBHC410
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for raw milk from third countries or parts thereof authorised in column A of Annex I intended for further processing before being used for human consumption (Regulation 605/2010) (Milk-RM).
Certificate GBHC411
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for dairy products derived from raw milk for human consumption, from third countries or parts thereof authorised in column A of Annex I (Regulation 605/2010) (Milk-RMP).
Certificate GBHC412
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for dairy products derived from milk of cows, ewes, goats and buffaloes for human consumption from third countries or parts thereof authorised in column B of Annex I (Regulation 605/2010) (Milk-HTB).
Certificate GBHC413
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for dairy products for human consumption from third countries or parts thereof authorised in column C of Annex I (Regulation 605/2010) (Milk-HTC).
Certificate GBHC414
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for colostrum of cows, ewes, goats and buffaloes and colostrum-based products derived from colostrum of the same species from third countries or parts thereof listed in column A of Annex I for human consumption (Regulation 605/2010) (C/CPB).
Certificate GBHC415
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for raw milk, colostrum, dairy products or colostrum-based products for human consumption, intended for transit or storage (Regulation 605/2010) (M/C/DP-T/S).

Model health certificate for dairy products and raw milk that have undergone a lower heat treatment than pasteurisation for human consumption from third countries listed in accordance with GB import authorisation IMP/GEN/2024/01

Use this certificate from 21 June 2021.

We have updated certificates GBHC410, GBHX411, GBHC412, GBHC413, GBHC414 and GBHC415. We have also updated the ‘use from’ date for certificates GBHC410, GBHX411, GBHC412, GBHC413, GBHC414 and GBHC415. Use from date for EU changed to 31 January 2024. Use from date for non-EU countries changed to 30 April 2024.

We have replaced all EU certificates ending in E with new certificates that can be used by all countries. EU countries must use the new certificates from 31 October 2023. Non-EU countries can continue using certificates ending in X or start using the new certificates. We will communicate the deadline for non-EU countries switching to the new certificates in due course.

Certificates GBHC064E, GBHC065E, GBHC066E, GBHC067E, GBHC068E, and GBHC069E should be used from 31 December 2023.
